    Authors: Seguin, Maria-Susana;

    Nous voulons juger de tout. Nous voulons juger de nous, nous en sommes trop près ; nous voulons juger des autres, nous en sommes trop loin. Qui serait entre la Lune et la Terre, ce serait la vraie place pour les bien voir 1. C'est en ces termes que le philosophe des Entretiens sur la pluralité des mondes de Fontenelle débute la leçon d'astronomie lunaire qu'il donne à son interlocutrice, une marquise coquette et curieuse, lors de leur deuxième soirée de leurs conversations savantes. S'en suit une plaisante présentation de la nature de la Lune, du mécanisme des éclipses et des peurs anciennes associées aux phénomènes célestes. Très informée des connaissances de son temps, Fontenelle donne également une description du relief lunaire, directement inspirée de la carte proposée, quelques années plus tôt (1680), par Jean-Dominique Cassini, « l'homme du monde à qui le ciel est le mieux connu ». Enfin, le philosophe argumente surtout sur l'existence des habitants de la Lune, l'un des thèmes principaux de cette oeuvre défendant, comme l'indique le titre, la thèse d'une pluralité de mondes habités. Mais nous le savons, Fontenelle n'est pas un astronome, et son oeuvre ne constitue pas véritablement une page de l'histoire des connaissances scientifiques sur le ciel en général et sur la Lune en particulier. En effet, l'oeuvre sans doute la plus connue de Fontenelle, publiée en 1686, un an donc avant la parution des Principia Mathematica de Newton, est profondément liée à la théorie des tourbillons cartésiens, dont Fontenelle restera un fervent défenseur contre la gravitation universelle, même après son adoption dans les milieux savants français 2. Le succès des Entretiens (plus d'une trentaine d'éditions publiées du vivant de l'auteur), ne tient donc pas à son caractère révolutionnaire en matière scientifique, mais plutôt à ce doux mélange de galanterie un peu précieuse et de « nouvelle science », auquel on a trop vite donné le nom de « discours de vulgarisation » et qui a pendant longtemps fait la réputation de l'auteur.     Authors: Baudry, Pierre;

    Selon Peter Mair et de Richard Katz, les partis politiques dominants se caractérisent par un phénomène de cartellisation. Ils tendraient à coopérer ensemble pour exclure les nouveaux concurrents et pour monopoliser les ressources de l’Etat. Nous questionnons cette hypothèse à l’exemple de l’évolution du système politique allemand entre 2005 et 2020. Nous constatons un déclin constant des milieux sociaux traditionnels soutenant la CDU/CSU et le SPD. Le nombre de chrétiens, d’agriculteurs d’une part et de salariés syndiqués d’autre part – soutien respectif des démocrates-chrétiens et des sociaux-démocrates – baisse de manière tendancielle. Néanmoins, les partis établis n’ont d’accès privilégié aux ressources de l’Etat lesquelles sont accessibles aussi aux nouveaux partis politiques – Alternative für Deutschland, PDS/Die Linke, Verts. On constate, en revanche, une autre forme de cartellisation que nous appelons cartellisation-recomposition. Elle repose sur un rapprochement entre les partis établis entre eux et avec certains nouveaux partis. La cartellisation-exclusion concerne uniquement certains partis et elle s’inscrit dans une logique de « cordon sanitaire » et non de monopolisation des ressources publiques. According to Peter Mair and Richard Katz, dominant political parties are characterized by a phenomenon of cartelization. They would tend to cooperate together to exclude new competitors and to monopolize state resources. We question this hypothesis by focusing of the evolution of the German political system between 2005 and 2020. We note a constant decline of the traditional social circles supporting the CDU/CSU and the SPD. The number of Christians, farmers on the one hand and unionized workers on the other – respectively supporters of the Christian-Democrats and the Social-Democrats – is steadily declining. However, the established parties do not have privileged access to state resources, which are also accessible to the new political parties – Alternative für Deutschland, PDS/Die Linke, Green. On the other hand, there is another form of cartelization that we call cartelizationrecomposition. It is based on a rapprochement between the established parties with eachother and with certain new parties. Cartelization-exclusion concerns only certain parties and it is part of a logic of "cordon sanitaire" and not of monopolization of public resources.

    International audience; Le recueil des données a été effectué sur la période des vacances d'hiver 2018 et a permis de recueillir 752 réponses en face à face. Nous avons ensuite appliqué sur nos données et selon les recommandations de Diamantopoulos et Winklhofer (2001), une analyse factorielle dite exploratoire sur les variables d'intérêt précédemment citées, que nous avons ensuite testées à l'aide des équations structurelles sur la variable expérience. Notre modèle montre une médiation des variables en lien avec le local (topologie, habitant, patrimoine) ou les activités, par l'évaluation des valeurs de l'institution régissant la station, ainsi qu'une modération par ses capacités à maintenir l'ordre et la propreté. Autrement dit, nos résultats appuient l'idée que l'évaluation de l'institution dans ses valeurs sociétales et environnementales à un impact supérieur dans l'expérience vécue par le touriste devant les activités ou la beauté d'un paysage. Ce qui, en soi, constitue l'apport managérial majeur de notre recherche, remettant au coeur des stratégies de conquête l'organisation sous-tendant les stations de ski à travers des valeurs environnementales et sociétales.

    Authors: Simoncini, Nicolas;

    Les piles à combustible, dont le principe de fonctionnement est connu depuis le milieu du XIXème siècle, permettent de produire simultanément de l’électricité, de l’eau et de la chaleur à partir de combustibles et comburants tels que l’hydrogène et l’oxygène. À la fin des années cinquante, ces générateurs électrochimiques connaissent des perfectionnements majeurs, notamment grâce aux travaux de l’Anglais Francis T. Bacon, et sont utilisés aux États-Unis par la NASA (Aeronautics and Space Administration) au sein de ses programmes spatiaux. En France, des études sont mises en place au même moment dans des laboratoires publics et privés, tels que ceux d’Alsthom, de l’Institut français du pétrole et du CNRS (Centre national de la recherche scientifique), sous l’égide des Armées et de la DGRST (Délégation générale à la recherche scientifique et technique), organisme d’État chargé de la politique de la recherche. Jusqu’au début des années quatre-vingt, des millions de francs sont ainsi investis et des centaines de chercheurs, ingénieurs et techniciens sont mobilisés pour améliorer la technique, travailler à son adaptation aux automobiles électriques, aux trains, aux sous-marins, à la construction de centrales de production industrielle d’électricité ou encore à la fourniture de solutions militaires. Alors que de nos jours les piles à combustible apparaissent en France comme des options majeures pour la transition énergétique, c’est tout l’objet de cette thèse que de retracer, restituer et analyser cette partie de leur histoire grâce à une enquête de terrain fondée sur la récolte d’archives et la réalisation d’entretiens avec des acteurs ayant participé aux recherches. Nous mettrons tout d’abord au jour les conditions socio-historiques et les dynamiques structurelles qui font que les piles à combustible deviennent un thème d’intérêt en France à la fin des années cinquante. Nous montrerons ensuite comment les études sont organisées puis réorientées dans les années soixante et soixante-dix en fonction de l’évolution du collectif de pensée et du réseau social créés autour de la technique. Enfin, nous examinerons l’ensemble des raisons politiques, économiques, scientifiques et sociales pour lesquelles ces travaux sont presque tous abandonnés au début des années quatre-vingt. Fuel cells, which operation principle is known since the middle of the 19th century, allow to produce electricy, water and heat simultaneously from fuels and combustives like hydrogen and oxygen. At the end of the 50s, these electrochemical generators are perfected, particularly thanks to the work of Francis T. Bacon in England, and are used in the USA by NASA (Aeronautics and Space Administration) for space programs. In France at the same period, private and public laboratories as Alsthom, the IFP (French Petroleum Institute) and the CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research) start their own studies under the supervision of the Ministry of Defense and the DGRST (General Commission for for Scientific and Technical Research), a national institution in charge of scientific research policy. Until the beginning of the 80s, millions are thus invested and hundreds of researchers, engineers and technicians are mobilized to improve fuel cells, work on their adaptation to electrical cars, trains, submarines, on the construction of fuel cell power plants or specific military equipments. Now that in France fuel cells are considered as major options for energy transition, the objective of this dissertation paper is to analyze this period of their history thanks to a field investigation based on numerous archives and interviews with stakeholders who contributed to researches. We will first expose socio-historical conditions and structural dynamics which make fuel cells become a theme of national interest at the end of the 50s. We will then show how studies are organized and reoriented in the 60s and 70s according to the evolution of the thought collective and the social network created around fuel cells. Finally we will examine all political, economic, scientific and social reasons which led to drop almost all fuel cell researches in the country at the beginning of the 80s.

    Authors: Ross, Alf; Millard, Éric; Matzner, Elsa;

    De tous les grands courants qui ont marqué la théorie générale du droit au vingtième siècle, les approches réalistes sont celles qui en France sont les moins bien connues, qu'elles soient d'origine américaines ou, comme c'est le cas avec Alf Ross, scandinaves. Elles ont pourtant largement contribué à formaliser le tournant épistémologique majeur de la philosophie juridique, qui l'a ancrée dans la démarche analytique, pour proposer les bases d'une science moderne du droit.Tenant rigoureux du positivisme, autant si ce n'est plus au sens du positivisme logique des philosophes que du positivisme classique des juristes, Alf Ross, partant du normativisme Kelsénien et de la philosophie anti-métaphysique d'Hägerström, va développer un empirisme radical dont il donne à la fois les justifications théoriques et les implications concrètes dans l'analyse critique du langage du droit, dans la théorie constitutionnelle et dans la philosophie morale et politique.Les textes présentés dans cet ouvrage, traduits pour la première fois en français, permettent de suivre sur près d'un demi-siècle la mise en forme de ce projet empiriste dont s'inspirent de nombreuses analyses contemporaines. Textes d'Alf Ross traduits par Eric Millard et Elsa Matzner, et présentés et annotés par Eric Millard
