    Authors: Verdon, Laure;

    L'affaire judiciaire mettant aux prises deux coseigneurs du village de Roquevaire, près de Marseille, entre la fin du XIIIe et le début du XIVe siècle offre la possibilité de donner à voir les stratégies d'identité mises en œuvre par les seigneurs, quel que soit leur niveau dans la hiérarchie nobiliaire, qui mobilisent toutes les ressources judiciaires qu'offrent les procédures mises en place par les Angevins en Provence. Loin d'être démuni face à un grand seigneur récalcitrant, Pelet de Mimet réclame justice pendant une dizaine d'années sur des droits de juridiction qui lui sont déniés par Hugues de Baux et mène en parallèle une politique de regroupement des parts de coseigneurie sur ce lieu qui se révèle, au final, payante. Face à ces stratégies, Hugues de Baux se place, quant à lui, sur le terrain de la familiarité avec le souverain angevin et de la protection de ses droits que le prince se doit de garantir.

    Authors: Scilien, Jean-Christophe;

    International audience; Cette communication analyse le processus de désinstitutionalisation sociale de la Régie Renault, au travers des neuf années s'étendant de l'arrivée en fonction de Bernard Hanon à la présidence de la Régie (25 décembre 1981), jusqu'à l'annonce de la fermeture de son usine mère historique (novembre 1989), et la dénationalisation de la Régie (juillet 1990). Cette recherche exploratoire est basée sur l'exploitation de cinq sources archivistiques : celles de la Société d'Histoire du Groupe Renault (SHGR), fonds de l'Institut National de l'Audiovisuel (Ina), archives de Renault (Conseil d'administration), archives de presse du journal Le Monde (AJLM) et celles du Ministère de l'industrie (rapports de l'Assemblée nationale, Sénat). La confrontation de ces archives nous a permis de mieux repérer les actions, les intentions et les perceptions de trois présidents successifs de la Régie (Messieurs Hanon, Besse, Lévy) ; ainsi que le rôle évolutif joué par l'Etat actionnaire (au travers du premier ministre et/ou du ministre de tutelle), tout au long d'un processus qui a conduit à l'émergence d'une nouvelle institution, axée sur la dimension financière.

    International audience; In Roman antiquity, gladiator fights reproduce a managed crisis: the spectators transfer the violence that could oppose each other onto the gladiator, rejecting it out on the community and channelling it against its opponent. Once the fight has ended, the spectators are once again united in the celebration of Victoria getting rid of the atrocity of death. Infames because touched by the taint of death and money, they are nonetheless fighters that provide catharsis. Moreover rites rule this act that breaks the taboo of violence within the area of the pomoerium. The arena for example is surrounded by herms delimiting the area of the games into a separate world, distinct from the one of the humans and the gods whose devoted statues and icons accompanies the spectators. Moreover civilizing gest of the gods and their myths are also staged in the arena, and their statues are brought into the amphitheatre during the inaugurating pompa. Trough the richness of this type of representations, romans show the strength of their institutions and the world order. The games are integrated within rites that renew the pax deorum and they guarantee the values and the domination of the romans using the divine assent. Gladiatoral fight like sacrifice is part of the self-regulating mechanisms, a collective transfer achieved through representations perceivable by everyone. Una prima versione del presente contributo è stata presentata al Convegno Internazionale di Studi Hagnos, Miasma e Katharsis. Viaggio tra le categorie del puro e dell'impuro nell'immaginario del mondo antico, Cagliari 4-6 maggio 2016. Sono riconoscente a Marco Giuman, Romina Carboni e Maria Paola Castiglioni, per la straordinaria opportunità di confronto offertami; devo, inoltre, a Luca Cerchiai, Marco Giuman e Mauro Menichetti numerose osservazioni di cui mi sono giovato nella revisione del testo.

    Authors: Gheeraert-Graffeuille, Claire;

    Cet article étudie deux pièces anglaises mettant en scène des femmes soldats, qu’elles se soulèvent contre les hommes (The Lady Errant) ou que, femmes du royaume de la Réforme, elles combattent victorieusement l’armée du royaume de la sédition (Bell in Campo). Dans la première, les objets de l’héroïsme, impuissants à définir un véritable héroïsme féminin, sont tournés en ridicule ; dans la seconde, les heroickesses sont les dernières dépositaires d’un héroïsme dont les hommes ne sont plus capables.

    Authors: Jomand-Baudry, Régine;

    L’article analyse la manière dont Sylvain Maréchal désacralise l’épisode biblique prophétique du jugement dernier dans Le Jugement dernier des rois (1793), pour en faire naître un sacré centré sur les valeurs humaines fondatrices d’un monde nouveau. La pièce, par la voie d’une mise en scène spectaculaire, s’apparente à une fête révolutionnaire dont elle remplit les fonctions en reliant entre eux les spectateurs. This article analyses the way in which Sylvain Maréchal deconsecrated the prophetic biblical episode of the last judgement in Le Jugement dernier des rois (1793) so as to create a sacred centred on the founding human values of a new world. The play, through a spectacular mise en scène, partakes in a revolutionary fervour whose functions it fulfils by connecting its spectators.

    Authors: Foucault, Didier;

    International audience; Témoin des guerres de religion et disciple de Montaigne, dont il systématise les thèses, Pierre Charron montre dans La Sagesse qu’il n’y a rien de plus trompeur que la coutume qui tire son pouvoir de conviction du « général consentement ». Les sages n’en sont pas dupes. Mais ils ne sont qu’une minorité et c’est à ce titre qu’ils considèrent qu’il est nécessaire que le peuple respecte la « législation en vigueur »... Autrement dit : si la coutume et la loi sont respectables en un pays – qu’il s’agisse du régime politique, des mœurs ou même de la religion – ce n’est pas parce qu’elles s’inspireraient d’une vérité supérieure, mais parce que c’est à cette condition que sera préservée la paix civile…

    Authors: Parmentier, Elisabeth;

    Le défi permanent de la théologie pratique est de mettre en relation des instances hétérogènes : la Bible, les confessions de foi et autorités ecclésiales, et les réalités de la vie quotidienne dans son contexte socioculturel. La théologie pratique joue un rôle exploratoire, interprétatif et créatif, en travaillant les textes bibliques ni simplement comme des traces de temps anciens ni comme conteneurs d’un sens fixé mais comme ressources de sens pouvant demeurer inspiratrices aujourd’hui. The constant challenge of practical theology is to bring together heterogeneous phenomena: the Bible, confessions of faith and ecclesial structures, and the realities of daily life in its socio-cultural context. Practical theology plays an exploratory, interpretative and creative role, working with biblical texts not simply as vestiges of ancient times or as containers of a fixed meaning but as resources of significance that can remain inspiring today.

    Authors: Muller, Claude;

    Les négatifs sont des indéfinis ayant une affinité particulière pour les contextes négatifs, souvent porteurs d’un trait négatif inhérent amovible en contexte de négation réalisée. Les concepts de « négation directe » et de « négation indirecte » décrivent bien leurs contextes d’occurrence. L’unification de la négation verbale avec un négatif peut parfois être bloquée, soit par des effets sémantiques non souhaités comme la quantification, soit par des oppositions de points de vue polyphoniques. Negatives are indefinite items which have a particular affinity for negative contexts, often bearing an inherent negative feature liable to be lost in a context of expressed negation. The concepts of “direct” vs. “indirect” negation successfully renders their contexts of occurrence. The unification of verbal negation can sometimes be blocked either by unwanted semantic effects such as quantification, or by polyphonic oppositions of viewpoints.

    Authors: Basso Fossali, Pierluigi;

    La multiplication des écrans propose une équivalence et une compétition paradigmatique des rôles actantiels précédemment incompatibles (par exemple, à la fois téléspectateur et enquêteur privé des informations). Est-ce qu’on peut trouver les traces d’une contre-culture, susceptible de problématiser les visées pratiques et les enjeux éthiques dans la communication multi-écran ? Nous voudrions proposer l’exemple d’une œuvre multimédia récente, Kiss & Cry (mise en scène par Jaco Van Dormael), qui cherche à s’opposer à la finalisation dominante des productions sémiotiques pour l’écran, à travers une réinscription du cinéma dans l’espace théâtral. L’appréhension multiple des différents plans de l’expression qui coexistent, entrent en compétition, activent des remédiations mutuelles, devient dans Kiss & Cry un défi poétique, car l’exhibition des médiations en acte ne semble pas soustraire la magie originelle du média, mais en revanche la récréer. The multiplication of screens ensures some equivalence and a paradigmatic competition between previously conflicting actantial roles (for instance, “television watcher” and “data miner”). But could a counterculture arise in order to contest and throwing into question practical goals and ethical issues concerning multi-screen communication ? We would give the example of a recent multimedia work, Kiss & Cry (directed by Jaco Van Dormael), that seeks to resist the dominant finalization of all semiotic products for the screen. So, this show tries to reinscribe cinema in the theatrical space. Multiple constructions of different expression planes can coexist, compete and trigger mutual remediation ; this is what Kiss & Cry try to demonstrate promoting a poetic challenge. The exhibition of mediations in real time doesn’t take the original magic away from the technological media ; on the contrary, that gives it the chance for a renewal.     La comparaison de la technique avec la magie est assez banale, souvent pour exalter par hyperbole la puissance de la première. Dans le cas du numérique, il arrive que la comparaison trouve son prolongement dans la fiction : en particulier dans la science-fiction, il n’est pas rare de voir l’informatique et la magie associées. Cette association peut prendre diverses formes, du simple développement de la métaphore au fantastique assumé. À partir des exemples de Vernor Vinge, William Gibson, et Charles Stross, on propose d’explorer quelques figures du merveilleux numérique et de montrer comment la double figure de l’illusionniste et du chaman est révélatrice des rapports ambigus que l’irrationnel entretient avec les techniques numériques. It is quite common to compare technology and magic, usually to emphasis the wonderworks of the first. In case of digital technology, this comparison is carried forward in fiction : it is not uncommon, especially in science-fiction, to see computers and wizards alongside, whether as a manner of elaborate metaphor, or in full blown fantasy settings.By studying some works of Vernor Vinge, William Gibson, and Charles Stross, we will see different kinds of digital magic, and show how our technological imagination has complex and ambiguous ties with the irrational, epitomized by the twin figures of the illusionist and the shaman.     Authors: Verdon, Laure;

    L'affaire judiciaire mettant aux prises deux coseigneurs du village de Roquevaire, près de Marseille, entre la fin du XIIIe et le début du XIVe siècle offre la possibilité de donner à voir les stratégies d'identité mises en œuvre par les seigneurs, quel que soit leur niveau dans la hiérarchie nobiliaire, qui mobilisent toutes les ressources judiciaires qu'offrent les procédures mises en place par les Angevins en Provence. Loin d'être démuni face à un grand seigneur récalcitrant, Pelet de Mimet réclame justice pendant une dizaine d'années sur des droits de juridiction qui lui sont déniés par Hugues de Baux et mène en parallèle une politique de regroupement des parts de coseigneurie sur ce lieu qui se révèle, au final, payante. Face à ces stratégies, Hugues de Baux se place, quant à lui, sur le terrain de la familiarité avec le souverain angevin et de la protection de ses droits que le prince se doit de garantir.

    Authors: Scilien, Jean-Christophe;

Sono riconoscente a Marco Giuman, Romina Carboni e Maria Paola Castiglioni, per la straordinaria opportunità di confronto offertami; devo, inoltre, a Luca Cerchiai, Marco Giuman e Mauro Menichetti numerose osservazioni di cui mi sono giovato nella revisione del testo.
