Abstract

Located in an area characterized by strong tides, the Rance estuary has been influenced by many water works. No doubt the most famous is its tidal power plant. For a few years, morphodynamicai evolutions seem to be stronger. The CŒUR committee, gathering elected people and users of the estuary, has decided ta finance a hydrosedimental study of the estuary, perfonned by the group EDF-LNHE and SOGREAH. Three models, based on the TELEMAC system deveioped by EDF-LNHE, have been built. They are analysed together ta allow a complete overview of the hydrosedimental dynamics of the estuary.
